Dear Beautiful Soul
How are you doing?
It is now hot in Japan, around 34 degrees, sunny and a bit humid. I love summer, and especially in Japan where the sun is out almost every day!
Today, I felt so immensely grateful for my life. All my experiences, I have had, and not at least for my life in Japan. I love Japan. And I love my/our little home in Jiyugaoka.
Jiyugaoka 自由が丘
Jiyugaoka is a little town in Tokyo, about 10 minutes drive south from Shibuya (on the Tokyu Toyoko subway line). The buildings are low, and the little town is filled with small cafés, local Japanese fashion shops, French pastries and cute Japanese fabric shops. Jiyugaoka is also called “The Little Europa” due to its cozy atmosphere!
Also, there is a street called Sakura street/Green street. It is filled with cherry blossom trees and benches. In Spring when Sakura is blooming you can relax and enjoy Ohanami (Cherry Blossom Viewing). It is really nice. Sakura is magical both during day-time and in the night.
Here is a list of my favorite places to go in Jiyugaoka:

It is really a nice Patisserie, with pastries, bread, and a little café. Above picture is from Patisserie Paris S’eveille @love_india7.
