Hi again Sweet Souls,

A new year has started. At this season in Japan, the Camilia flower is blooming everywhere. It looks so nice, warming your heart when you see all these flowers in the winter time. Another tree that soon blossoms is the plum flower. In Japanese, it is called Ume 梅.

Ume, 梅

Today, I was walking in our park, and a little boy with his mother was passing many plum trees. The boy called her mother and said ほら!Look! The little boy had found some plum blossoms.

There are both white ones and pink plum flowers. The pink ones look very similar to sakura flowers. However, if you get closer you can tell the difference. The picture below is plum flowers, created by @lem0n
